I really love what some people are trying to do here, but I feel like I need to censor my posts to be PC all the time. I’d never call anyone ugly, especially not based on body type, but I don’t have to be attracted to anyone if I’m just not.
I am also tired of the shitstorm that follows every time I use the words “woman” and “vagina” in the same sentence. How about, instead of being a dick to everyone who accidentally omits a certain gender, even though they try to remember every time they post, you pour your efforts into establishing other genders into the community. Just making people afraid to forget those genders does not solve anything. Just politely ask me to fucking add in the other genders. I’m not actually that ignorant, but as a Southerner, the concept of other genders and sexualities is pretty new to me and I forget sometimes.
And how about we stop trashing people who get plastic surgery, huh? Yeah, maybe they are a victim of the media, but you know what you’re doing when you talk about them like stupid bimbos who “ought to be happy with their bodies” just because you’ve made peace with yours? You’re blaming victims. And you know what else? It’s none of your fucking business who gets plastic surgery, or why. If you think insecurity is a problem with the media, consult the fucking media. And sometimes, it has nothing to fucking do with that. I have an ED, and even though seeing pretty ladies in the media doesn’t help, that’s not what it’s about.
So, how about having a conversation with whoever it is you’ve got a problem with instead of just making big fat fucking blanket statements? I’m preparing myself for all the horrible things I’m sure tons of people have to say, but fuck that shit. I’m not censoring myself anymore.
I like skinny guys and am not really attracted to the super buff! I would get plastic surgery if I could afford it! I am a privileged, white cisfemale, and I try to use that privilege in the right way, but sometimes I act like a human and I forget!
